Problems may include marriages that are off track, have communication problems, lack intimacy, affairs; individuals stress in life resulting from divorce, work, family, loss; teens and children with trauma, loss, family changes, difficulties with peers, trouble focusing on school work, change in grades, increasing irritability; families concerned about a family member, having communication struggles, divorce recovery and/or other family trauma.

I see adults, and seniors and address addiction/substance abuse, anxiety, depression, and traumatic disorders. I generally use medication only in a time limited manner and endeavor to help the patient gain some control over the factors that are causing or exacerbating their psychiatric symptoms. I have worked extensively with patients with personality disorders and severe depressive disorders in my career.

Andrea Mitchell is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has worked within the mental health field for the last nine years in the acute care, inpatient setting. It was her desire to have a meaningful impact on the mental health field in a different capacity that led her towards becoming a PMHNP. Melissa Jackson is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner practicing in Wisconsin since 2020. Melissa has a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing from Carroll College and a Master's of Science in Nursing from Maryville University. She has experience providing care in a variety of settings including inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization programs, intensive outpatient programs and outpatient. I’m Angie and I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner. You might consider coming to see me if you are contemplating using psychiatric or addiction medications to help address a problem you are having. In addition to psychiatric/addiction medication management, I can also do brief, solution-focused types of therapy. I prescribe a range of medications for mental health needs and for opioid and alcohol addictions including injectable meds like sublocade and vivitrol. Dr. Lauri Lowenbraun is a board certified adult psychiatrist who has been treating patients in the Milwaukee area for over twenty years. Following her residency at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where she served as Chief Resident, she settled locally to provide care for the psychiatric needs in her community. Dr. Lowenbraun enjoys treating a full range of psychiatric conditions in adults 18 years and older. Her primary focus, however, includes the treatment of all mood and anxiety disorders. She further values the supportive therapeutic alliance she establishes with her patients.
