Psychiatrists are the only doctors who don't look inside the body to assess a problem. Think about it; all other doctors use imaging and labs to look inside a person’s body when making a diagnosis. That coupled with your symptoms is how they determine what the problem is. Unfortunately, mental health providers have learned that how a person feels is their only tool in assessing somebody. Because of this, psychiatrists often have no idea what’s causing the problem. This limits the treatment options to a prescribed “band-aid" that is used to reduce symptoms, instead of addressing the underlying cause of a problem.

Accepting new clients. As a board psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP), I am able to provide a comprehensive mental health assessment and medication management. It is my belief that collaborating with patients and families can result in better outcomes and satisfaction. I am passionate in partnering with clients to develop realistic goals. Typically, appointments may be more frequent until we establish stability. I provide brief supportive therapy and medication management. I look forward to being a partner in your healing journey.

We offer various programs and services designed to meet the individual needs of teenagers, adults, and families who enter our care. When teenagers, adults, and families are referred to us, our highly qualified mental health professionals evaluate the patient’s needs and recommend the appropriate program and resources available. We also offer Spravato (esketamine) as a treatment for those suffering from treatment-resistant major depressive disorder. Through all of this, two goals are kept in mind – helping patients heal and equipping patients and their families with the tools to manage any ongoing mental health needs.

Arabelle is a board-certified Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Samuel Merritt University in the San Francisco Bay area. She enjoyed seven fulfilling years as a registered nurse in various areas of practice and eventually became the Director of Nursing at an addiction treatment center in the Pacific Northwest. She then obtained a Master of Science in Nursing from Seattle Pacific University and a national certification with the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
