Accepting New Patients. Dr. Marok is Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist that treats individuals throughout the lifespan, from early childhood into adulthood. He specializes in treating Anxiety and Mood disorders, ADHD, Autism and Sleep disorders. He utilizes both pharmacologic treatment and psychotherapy techniques. In addition, he works with patients on interpersonal growth and professional developmental.

I am currently accepting new patients, and an ideal client is a patient who is seeking psychiatric care or mental health services. Their issues include depression, anxiety, mood disorders, stress just to mention a few. An ideal client should be dedicated, devoted and be involved in developing an individualized, and culturally appropriate treatment plan to achieve overall success.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

I am a board-certified family psychiatric nurse practitioner. I have a master's degree in psychiatric nursing specializing in mental and behavioral health medicine. I have verifiable experience in treating variety of psychiatric disorders such as; mood disorders including resistant depression, eating disorders, ADHD, OCD, PTSD, schizophrenia, stress and sleep related disorders

My name is Dr. Michael Sun. I graduated from Harvard University and Dartmouth Medical School before completing my adult psychiatry residency training at Duke University and my child and adolescent fellowship training at Massachusetts General Hospital and McLean Hospital, affiliated with Harvard Medical School. Before moving to Seattle, I was the Site Director for Education at the Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Unit for the Mount Sinai Health System in New York City.

I worked as a child neurologist and sleep medicine physician before becoming a psychiatrist. Because of that, I provide varied and multiple treatment options, especially for patients with dual diagnoses. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient and residential and believe in a team approach to care. I am a former lecturer at NYU Child Study Center and headed a treatment team for children and adolescents with Autism and other complex neurodevelopmental disorders. I enjoy working with adolescents, college age and older adults and will engage with family as well in an effort to provide the greatest support to clients.

Biography: I completed my master’s degree in nursing at the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, followed by a post-master’s degree in Family Nursing Practice (FNP) and a doctoral degree in nursing practice (DNP) at Winston-Salem State University in North Carolina. I also completed a post-doctoral degree in psychiatric mental health practice (PMHNP) (across the lifespan) at Frontier Nursing University in Kentucky. I am board certified in Adult, Child, and Adolescent Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC). I am also board certified as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C), a DOT Medical Examiner, and SAMHSA (X-Waiver) addiction provider.

As a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner, I am equipped to provide comprehensive care for individuals and families facing mental health challenges. My training and experience have prepared me to work with a diverse range of patients, including those from under-served populations. I have a background in military medicine, working my way from being an army medic to supervising the army's busiest emergency department. I have also served in case management for Washington State DSHS, working closely with social workers and caregivers to advocate for the needs of foster children.

Accepting New Patients, even on Saturday and can see patients through Telepsychiatry or Telemedicine, and we do have some evening appts available as well. Trained as a family and psychiatric nurse practitioner. Master’s trained from the University of Cincinnati and Touro University; also have degrees from Pacific Lutheran University in Nursing and the University of Oklahoma. I have a background in military medicine, and have served populations that have been diverse and underserved. I have also served in case management for Washington State DSHS, working with social workers and caregivers for and in behalf of foster children.

I am a child and adolescent specialist. My practice centers on medication management and brief therapy. It is important to me that I develop a meaningful relationship with my patients so that I can support their personal success. Additionally, this will lead to a long-term connection that supports lasting health and wellness.

I approach our work in a spirit of collaboration. My therapeutic approach is warm, compassionate and kind with the goal of cultivating an environment where progress can take place. With 20+ potent years of medical experience, Charles is an alumnus of Saint Louis University holding a Master’s in Nursing. He has championed different branches of medical sciences, including Oncology, ICU, and community mental health. Charles has marked his expertise in treating individuals across all ages, from 5 to adults. Applying a holistic approach, he addresses a diversity of mental health issues, including mood disorders, anxiety, ADHD, eating disorders, trauma, and more.

As a dedicated Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, my mission is to offer a safe, warm, and inviting space. I provide comprehensive medication management, ensuring that any medications prescribed are effectively addressing your symptoms while minimizing side effects. As an immigrant from the Philippines & a member of the LGBTQ+ community, I offer a distinct viewpoint on mental health. My experience as an inpatient psychiatric provider, treating clients with complex symptoms and those in active crisis, significantly deepens my understanding and knowledge base.

Jim is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who brings a wealth of knowledge about mental health and experience in behavioral health management to our clinic where he serves as our Clinical Director and provides medication management for our patients. Jim has an MSN from Seattle University and worked in behavioral health administration prior to becoming a psychiatric nurse. As an RN, he worked as a staff nurse on a medical-psych unit and as a charge nurse on an adolescent psych unit and an adult psychiatric intensive care unit. He became a nurse to work in psychiatry and has always worked in psychiatry – he loves every day on the job.

Our anxiety about the state of the world is a normal response to the abnormal stressors facing so many of us. The collective concerns that we all face coupled with our own individual worries can make life feel overwhelming. I have worked as a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner since 2007 and my private practice is focused on looking within. Working with individuals to focus and heal the one person we can control: ourselves.
