Golda is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) who manages and treats a wide range of mental health concerns including mood disorders such as depression, anxiety, trauma, and insomnia, and life transitions. She has 24 years of acute care experience and possesses strong critical care skills. She focuses her practice on providing quality and evidenced-based care to her clients while using a compassionate approach. Golda graduated from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree, and then received her Master of Science in Nursing degree from Walden University.

Welcome to my practice! I am a Board Certified psychiatrist, who trained at Georgetown University Hospital where I served as chief educational fellow and at a Jefferson Medical College teaching hospital in Philadelphia, and in 2020, I opened my practice here to provide my expertise and psychiatric services to adults, including emerging adults residing in the DMV area. I currently serve as a psychiatric consultant at Northwestern Medicine in Illinois and other hospitals in Virginia and Pennsylvania. I specialize in treatment, provide consultation for patients struggling with various sleep, mood, anxiety disorders, and ADHD.

With expertise in psychiatric medication management, I collaborate closely with individuals to find the most appropriate and effective medication regimen, when needed. I provide psychoeducation, empowering individuals to understand their conditions and make informed decisions regarding their mental health.My goal is to provide patient-centered holistic mental health approach that ensures that you and your family's preferences, values, cultural traditions, and socioeconomic conditions are respected. I treats all general psychiatric issues, with a clinical focus on depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and other mood disorder.
