Hello everyone! Thank you for considering me as your mental health partner. I'm Nathacha Cerome, a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) with over 10 years of clinical nursing in diverse medical settings, both inpatient and outpatient. My passion lies in providing comprehensive and compassionate care to adult patients facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, PTSD, insomnia, and bipolar disorders.

My life mission is to help people effectively manage their mental health concerns to improve their overall quality of life. Together we will uncover the issues important to you and explore treatment options that are tailored to your optimal mental health. I treat a wide range of mental health diagnoses, including depression, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia, bipolar, sleep disturbances, eating disorders, PTSD, night terrors, trauma related disorders, and anger issues. Cecilia is very passionate about helping others. While in the nursing field she has helped children, adults, groups and families work towards improving not only their mental health but improving their whole selves. I am Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 10 years of experience, providing medication management and adjunctive psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults. I believe in a multifaceted collaborative approach to patient-centered care. My focus is on the whole person, including medical, emotional, social, and spiritual aspects. Medication management is just one element of a successful treatment plan and that supportive therapy and teaching coping strategies are valuable tools in treatment. I am currently accepting new patients in the Glen Allen office and/or telehealth.

Jessica (she/her) specializes in the Psychiatric assessment and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults. She has over 20 years of experience treating PTSD, Anxiety, Bipolar Disorder, Depression, Anxiety, OCD, and ADHD- among other mental health concerns. She knows that medication doesn't solve every problem, but can be a necessary tool that aids in supporting therapeutic goals for long term healing. Having worked in a children's psychiatric hospital for much of her career, she is very eager to prevent higher levels of care when possible.

Insight Physicians has been working to meet the behavioral health needs of people in the Richmond Virginia area for more than 35 years. Our clinical team is comprised of psychiatrists, nurse practitioners specialty trained in behavioral health, physician assistants and therapists. Nick is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who graduated with his Master of Science in Nursing from Virginia Commonwealth University in 2022. He is a clinician who offers psychiatric medication management and supportive counseling. Before beginning his career as a Nurse Practitioner, Nick worked for 8+ years in inpatient Adult Medical and Acute Psychiatry at VCU. His profession as a psychiatric nurse has taught him to see people as they are, and to avoid labeling individuals based on their mental illness. Nick strives to provide a nonjudgmental, safe environment for all.

Overcoming difficult emotions is challenging and can seem insurmountable. With daily practice and self-understanding, a calmer more fulfilling life is possible. While medication management is my primary focus, I view medication as a means to achieve the stability needed to attain your goals. Each appointment is structured to help you find the evidence based combination of medication and/or coping skills to make long term improvements. I work with adolescents and adults on issues from anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar/mood specturm, and ADHD

My treatment approach is simple-- help you get to the underlying cause of your mental health symptoms and offer you effective solutions to help manage them. I believe that medications are only one tool among many that can help improve symptoms of mental health-- in my conversations with patients I put equal emphasis on the importance of good nutrition, optimal gut health, stress management, individual talk therapy, regular exercise, and excellent sleep hygiene. I am now pleased to also be offering ketamine-assisted therapy for individuals with treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, OCD, and PTSD.

Dr. Yaple earned his medical degree from the State University of New York at Buffalo School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences in 2003. He then moved to Richmond, Virginia where he completed his internship and residency in General Psychiatry at the Virginia Commonwealth University Health System, and then went on to complete his fellowship training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in 2008 through VCU at the Virginia Treatment Center for Children.

She utilizes evidenced – based treatment guidelines in evaluating, diagnosing, and treating a wide range of mental health disorders not limited to Depression, Anxiety, insomnia, Bipolar, PTSD, Psychosis, OCD, Schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and ADHD.

Chelsea Snyder, PMHNP-BC, MSN, RN, graduated from Shenandoah University with a BSN and Bachelor's of Biology. She attained her MSN from Virginia Commonwealth University. Prior to her time at Zoe, Mrs. Snyder worked in inpatient psychiatry at VCU. At Zoe, Chelsea is passionate about caring for patients across the lifespan. She works with patients experiencing OCD, ADHD, mood and anxiety disorders. Mrs. Snyder is also excited to work with peri and postnatal women. She is dedicated to building a therapeutic relationship to advocate for the mental health needs of the community.

I am a board certified General Adult Psychiatrist who has been actively practicing in both inpatient and outpatient settings (majority outpatient) for the last eighteen 18 yrs since I graduated as a Chief Resident from MCV/VCU in 2005. I started my own private practice in June 2023 (Living Your Best, LLC) and am currently accepting new patients, ages 18-65. I consider myself to not only have consistent active listening skills, but pride myself in my all-inclusive, biopsychosocial approach to help you with your struggles and reach your highest potential, all while maintaining an empathetic and sincere nature.
