Hi! I am a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Utah seeing patients through telehealth and in office appointments. My goal as a provider is to empower you to become the best version of yourself. I treat children, teens and adults with a variety of mental health diagnoses. Working together at your pace, providing a healing space for personal growth through medication management and brief psychotherapy.

Maurice has had the privilege of working in many practice areas throughout his nursing career, including psychiatry, oncology, palliative care, medical intensive care, hospice, and home health. Much of his psychiatry experience has been in adolescents; however, he also has many years of experience working with adults. He enjoys working with a variety of age groups and possesses a natural ability to build rapport with his patients.

Lin Clark is a doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner, who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 with a degree in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Lin sees patients ages 12+. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and ADHD. In her spare time, Lin enjoys delicious food, going on walks, and bathing her hairless pets.

I was born and grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico and I'm passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds. I emphasize in collaborative care to create an individualized treatment plan combining knowledge of both physical and mental health care to achieve wellness.

I enjoy supporting people of all ages, no matter the mental health concern. I have experience treating anxiety to psychosis both naturally and pharmacological. I believe medications are most effective when utilized with therapy and behavioral changes.

My scope of practice and approach as a a psychiatric PA-C is influenced by my prior career as a social worker. Prior to PA school I worked in a psychology as a cognitive behavioral therapist for research in mood disorders and pain with the University of Texas at Arlington. Deciding I wanted to become more adept with psychiatrics assessments I moved to work in the emergency department at Texas Health Recourses Hospital In Dallas, Texas where I had multiple duties including administering psychiatric and chemical dependency assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and resource coordination for multiple populations.

Samuel currently provides care through Numinus Wellness Utah at the Murray location! Sam graduated Cum Lade from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science Exercise Science degree, and a Master in Public Health degree. Samuel received a Master of Science, Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Pacific University College of Health Professions in Hillsboro Oregon. Samuel currently provides care at Numinus Wellness Utah at the Murray location!

I enjoy working with children, teens and adults who are experiencing both minor and more severe mental health conditions and feel that they can benefit from the addition of medication to their treatment plan. I encourage my patients to take an active role in therapy in addition to medication management for ideal results.

Dr. Simmons received an MD overseas and a DNP from the University of Utah. She is a board-certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. She has nearly 20 years' experience in healthcare. Having lived in four countries with different cultures, she understands that each individual is the outcome of the complex interactions of their biopsychosocial factors and that trauma can have profound negative effects in people's lives. She respects people’s perspectives from all walks of life. She loves to assist people in improving the quality of their lives with evidence-based medical knowledge and psychotherapy skills.

Jean is a board-certified physician assistant and has broad experience in healthcare, but has specialized in mental health treatment for the last 8 years. Before focusing in on mental health, she worked in pain management, endocrinology, nephrology, and family medicine. Prior to being a Physician Assistant, she graduated from WSU and worked as a Registered Respiratory Therapist in Adult and Neonatal Intensive Care Units with IHC for 18 years. This expanse of knowledge and experience guides Jean's balanced and well-rounded approach to mental health care.

Dr. Scott Salomone, MD (he/him) completed his Psychiatric Residency training with distinction in Spanish Language and Healthcare Disparities at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona where he was additionally the Chief Resident of outpatient psychiatry. r. Salomone has found joy in the meaningful connections built in outpatient practice whether providing medication management, therapeutic services, or both with his patients. With a foundation of medical training, he strives to understand the complex physiology underlying mental health disorders and the medications, therapies, and other modalities used to treat them.

We treat a broad range of mental health issues throughout the lifespan; providing care to children, adolescents, and adults. We specialize in the medication management, diagnosis, and treatment of psychiatric and mental health conditions. We offer esketamine/ketamine therapy for treatment resistant depression (TRD) and depressive symptoms in adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) with suicidal thoughts or actions.
