I have over 10 years' experience working in the Emergency Room and Psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and substance use settings. I have worked for Memorial Hermann, Methodist, Harris Health, UHS, and HCA facilities. I have been an NP over 3 years now and offer full and comprehensive mental health care. I bring that vast knowledge and training into my treatment modalities. I feel that every person is an individual with their own story to tell and life to live. I find treating patients in that individual scope is the best approach to care and healing.

Hello. My name is Norman Rubin. I have provided service as a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner for the past 14 years. Also, I have worked helping people with medical problems so I appreciate the intersection of mental health and physical health challenges. I am licensed in Texas to practice as an adult psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner with the authority to prescribe medications and conduct psychotherapy. In addition, I possess a certification granted to me by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.

I am here to be part of the community's solution to mental health issues. With treatment plans tailored to individual needs due to the difference in conditions, I aim to minimize the quantity of medication required to achieve the treatment goals of each patient during the treatment journey with the hope of achieving remission.
