Jim is a psychiatric nurse practitioner who brings a wealth of knowledge about mental health and experience in behavioral health management to our clinic where he serves as our Clinical Director and provides medication management for our patients. Jim has an MSN from Seattle University and worked in behavioral health administration prior to becoming a psychiatric nurse. As an RN, he worked as a staff nurse on a medical-psych unit and as a charge nurse on an adolescent psych unit and an adult psychiatric intensive care unit. He became a nurse to work in psychiatry and has always worked in psychiatry – he loves every day on the job.

Boris Rubashkin was born and educated in St. Petersburg, Russia. He graduated 1969 and took his psychiatric residency in 1973. He immigrated to the United States in 1974 and spent five years working in a mental health field in Minnesota. With his desire to escape from the cold weather, he moved to a warmer climate of Houston, Texas. From 1979 - 1983, he worked at University of Texas Health Science Psychiatric Residency. In 1983, he went into private practice. In 1997, he also became a consulting psychiatrist to Long Term Care Facilities. Additionally, he cofounded Behavioral Health Consultants, a multi-specialty outpatient psychiatric office.

As a double-boarded psychiatrist, I am trained to assess, evaluate and treat any psychiatric disease. However, I have built my clinical and research career specializing in the area of mood disorders specifically depression and bipolar disorder. My special interests also include neurobehavioral psychiatry, psychosomatic psychiatry and cultural psychiatry. I offer a wide range of treatment modalities including psychopharmacology, psychotherapy and transcranial magnetic stimulation.

I am a dual boarded physician in psychiatry and internal medicine. I have broad experience both in internal medicine and psychiatry. I do inpatient and office-based psychiatry. My expertise are Addiction Medicine, Attention Deficit disorder, geriatric psychiatry, depression, anxiety disorders and bipolar disorder. I have Hospital privileges in majority of Houston and Ford Bend County hospitals, where I perform consultation liaison psychiatry.

Dr. Brian Zachariah is a board-certified psychiatrist and believes in tailoring his approach to meet each patient’s unique needs. He uses a multi-modal approach, incorporating medication management, patient empowerment, and psychoeducation to improve patients’ quality of life.

I am an adult psychiatric clinical nurse specialist and nurse practitioner. My practice is located at HWY 290 and Hollister in Houston, Texas. I provide psychiatric evaluation, diagnosis, medication, and psychotherapy. I treat individuals, couples, families, and groups. My Psychoanalytic Psychotherapy Program was completed through the William Alanson White Institute of Psychiatry, Psychoanalysis, and Psychology. Additionally, I have training in cognitive behavioral therapy, couple's counseling, family therapy, group therapy, and as a clinical hypnotherapist.
