Serena Sessions is an Adult Psychiatric Clinic, offering specialized mental health care, including bilingual appointments, English -Spanish. Using a combination of psychotherapy and/or medications, treatments are customized to the preferences and needs of each patient. Dr. Elena Ammatuna, MD, is board-certified in General Psychiatry, with 20 years of experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge in treating conditions such as depression, anxiety, episodes of panic attacks, psychological distress from traumatic experiences, medical conditions, or other life stressors.

Nereida Gonzalez-Berrios, MD is a General Psychiatrist who works in Katy, TX. She is fluent in both English and Spanish. Dr. Gonzalez-Berrios finished her training in psychiatry in 2008 and has been treating and helping patients since then. She has vast knowledge in treating different conditions such as mood disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic disorders, intellectual impairment, ADHD, eating disorders, PTSD, personality disorders, etc. She is looking forward to helping others with their mental health and wellbeing.

Dr. Orejarena’s is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She finished her residency from Yale University and the University of Texas Houston. She has done extensive research on psychiatry during her PhD in Neuropsychopharmacology and a Masters in Neuroscience. She is bilingual in Spanish and English. She incorporates different therapy modalities and evidence-based treatments, tailored to each person’s needs. She enjoys applying her knowledge in neuroscience and pharmacology into her clinical practice and believes combination of medication and psychotherapy yields best treatment outcomes.

Dr. Alexis Kropf is a board-eligible adult psychiatrist beginning her practice at Talkiatry after four years of clinical experience in residency. Dr. Kropf primarily focuses on providing medication management during 30-minute follow-up visits, weaving in elements of supportive therapy according to the needs of her clients. When additional therapy is indicated to promote recovery, Dr. Kropf may recommend that her clients work with a therapist as part of the treatment team. Dr. Kropf credits her undergraduate education at Southwestern University for strengthening her curiosity about and dedication to serving others.

Nelson has worked with clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, Schizophrenia, and addiction disorders. He focuses on providing compassionate and supportive care.

Ingrid Maria Suazo, DrHA, MSN, APRN, PMHNP-BC, is a board-certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and has been practicing in the field of mental health for over 25 years. Citadel Behavioral Health Services provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, consultation, medication management, and brief focused therapy services. We are open Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.
