JUNE 2024 - Accepting New Patients - I'm Board Certified as an Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Psychiatry and Mental Health in Multi-States (Texas, Rhode Island, Washington, Colorado, and New Hampshire), I'm bilingual and fluent in Spanish and English. I believe that each person has a unique problem and treatment is tailored specifically to their mental health concerns. I aim to provide patients with compassionate and judgment-free care using advanced technology (telehealth) to help enhance their quality of life for those that are affected with a mental health disorder..

Dr. Antonio Roman an Adult and Geriatric Psychiatrist has served the Dallas, Texas community since 1998. Dr. Roman's scope of practice includes Depression, Bipolar Disorder, Panic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder, Adult Attention Deficit Disorder, Alzheimer's Disease and Psychiatric Complications of Dementia. Dr. Roman's treatment modality includes psychotropic medication and supportive psychotherapy. Dr. Roman's therapeutic style combines compassion, encouragement and humor.

Citadel Behavioral Health Services provides outpatient psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, consultation, medication management, and brief focused therapy services. We are open Monday-Friday 9 am to 5 pm.

Nelson Kwowi, PMHNP- Board Certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) in Psychiatry to serve pediatric, adolescent, and adult clients with mental health conditions. He graduated with his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Texas Arlington and worked at JPS Hospital’s Department of Emergency Psychiatry for 5+ years. He then completed his Master of Science in Nursing from Walden University. Nelson has worked with clients experiencing mood disorders, anxiety disorders, trauma, psychotic disorders, Schizophrenia, and addiction disorders. He focuses on providing compassionate and supportive care.

Dr. Osman Athar is board certified in General Psychiatry and board eligible in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry. He graduated with a Bachelors of Arts in English from Rice University, from McGovern Medical School for his medical doctorate and went on to complete Psychiatry residency at the University of Texas-Houston where he served as a chief resident. Afterwards, he completed fellowship in Consult-Liaison Psychiatry at Louisiana State University - Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.
