I am a psychiatric nurse practitioner. My goal in working with clients is to get to know them to identify medication needs to address psychiatric symptoms in order to improve their quality of life. I believe strongly that medications can be a tool to help people function, however, I do not believe that they are the whole answer for people. Ideally, they are just one tool that patients may choose to utilize on the path to feeling better. I believe strongly in the benefits of mindfulness, and in a holistic approach to both physical and mental health that includes nutrition, mindfulness practices, sleep and physical activity.

I am able to meet with clients, learn about them and their past, their present circumstances, the challenges they are facing, any diagnoses they may already have or that their symptoms may point towards, and work to put in place a treatment plan of appropriate medications.
