Welcome! I'm a Licensed Nurse Practitioner, Board Certified in Family Medicine and Psychiatric Mental Health. I have the passion for helping adults and adolescents improve their mental health and emotional well-being. I understand that people often seek psychiatric support or therapy when they're experiencing emotional or psychological pain stemming from unrecognized beliefs, conflicts, or patterns. My goal as your mental health provider is to create a safe, private, trustworthy, and nonjudgemental place in which you can feel comfortable expressing your thoughts and feelings.

As a PMHNP at New Directions, I am driven by compassion and dedicated to empowering individuals on their journey towards mental well-being. With specialized training and expertise in psychiatry, I have developed a comprehensive understanding of holistic mental health care options to address a wide range of psychiatric concerns. My primary goal is to create a warm and non-judgmental space where clients feel understood, heard and safe working together to find a treatment approach that best supports their unique needs.

Mrs. Marie Kamara has over 15 years of extensive expertise in Nursing, spanning from internal medicine to psychiatry. In her therapeutic approach Marie focuses on leveraging the unique strengths, challenges and needs of each individual by focusing on the positive. Marie's care is based on the premise that patients who require mental health care respond best to a combination of therapy and medication. She places special emphasis on the integration of a psychotherapeutic approach with careful and limited use of medication prescribed only when necessary. At Julie Mental Health Services we take each patient’s case very seriously.

I am very experienced: 25 years of working as a nurse and marriage and family therapist combined with an additional 13 years of prescribing holistic and traditional medications resulting in significant experience seeing patients for significant mental illnesses, I work to keep patients healthy, prescribing holistic as well as traditional methods of psychiatry and focused on improving functioning at home and work.

I specialize in treating a vast range of mental health conditions including but not limited to ADHD, depression and anxiety. I welcome clients that have never sought treatment, on the fence about treatment of mental health, those who are looking to seek care again and or looking for another provider. I look to develop a strong therapeutic relationship with my clients in order to help address their needs to improve their level of mental health and overall quality of life. I want to help my clients live a life where their mental health is not a barrier and are able to reach their goals that they set.

Dr. Tim Kelly specializes in adult psychiatry. His practice focuses primarily on medication management but often incorporates aspects of supportive, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral therapies into his 30-minute follow-up visits. Dr. Kelly also strongly believes in working in conjunction with therapists for the best possible outcomes for his patients. He feels it is important to create strong therapeutic relationships with his patients in order to help patients achieve their treatment goals.

Finding a compassionate and knowledgeable healthcare professional at the time of significant illness, pain and suffering is most important. My efforts have been to give psychiatric care in such a manner. My practice of psychiatry has been open since May of 1996. I provide talk therapy and medication management as well as collaborate with psychologists and social workers to provide medication management for their patients. My practice includes general adult and geriatric psychiatry.

If you suffer from Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Prolonged grief or other mental health concerns and have tried a variety of medications and treatments without success, ketamine may be a good option for you. Ketamine can be utilized alone or in conjunction with your current medication regimen. It also pairs well with therapy and it works on different receptors than other medications, which can help improve mood and lower anxiety when other medications can not. It's also increases the neuroplasticity of the brain, which can help you alter the negative behaviors related to anxiety and OCD.

We work in-person and virtually. Dr Kho and Eileen Peirce work with children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and older adults. I am a board certified, Harvard trained psychiatrist with a private practice in the Mainline seeing patients both in the office and online using a leading telepsychiatry platform. I work with patients to identify, understand, and solve problems. Together we transform that understanding into positive action. I believe treatment must be highly individualized, compassionate and in a safe and confidential environment. It is a collaboration between the patient and the physician that allows for the greatest results. Together we will determine the best treatment for you whether that is therapy or medication or a combination of both.

I provide a complete range of psychiatric services including comprehensive evaluation, medication management, individual therapy and family therapy for children of all ages through adults. I understand how the complex dynamics of family affect the individual and how having a challenging child with emotional and behavioral problems affect the family system as well. I focus on the strengths of each child, individual and family, and utilize them in therapy to empower the child and their families to help them accept and overcome their issues.

Yun Mi is board certified in psychiatry. She offers diagnostic evaluations, medication management, and genetic testing services to those 18+. She believes in providing patient-led care in an environment that is validating, compassionate, and free of judgment. Yun Mi is a firm believer that diagnoses do not define an individual. Her approach to psychopharmacological treatment is evidence-based, individualized, and collaborative. She takes her time to provide optimal care, and her overall goal is to help her patients achieve psychological well-being and the quality of life they deserve. Appointments are available within 1 week.

My ideal client would include someone who is looking to better themselves mentally. They have tried alternatives before reaching out for help, and they just can't find the right treatment for them. I want to work with someone who is going to work with me to better themselves through treatment, whether that includes therapy, medications, or both

I have a huge passion for helping the mental health population. I often feel we just need someone who will not judge us, and will listen to what is going on, and get us back to the person we want to feel like again. I have a very upbeat, wanting to help personality and wish the best for everyone. Our goals will be to talk about what is going on, figure out what the right treatment options are, and get you back to feeling like the person you want to be. I am currently only offering medication management, but work very closely with many therapists, to ensure you are getting the well rounded care you need.

Rachel studied psychology at the University of Pittsburgh, where she published research with the UPMC Liver Cancer Center Quality of Life Program. She continued her training at Western Psychiatric Hospital & spent three years leading therapy groups at the John Merck Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities, where she processed anxiety, mood, and attention challenges. Rachel completed her Master of Science in Physician Assistant degree at DeSales University & is a Certified PA specializing in Psychiatry. While at DeSales, she completed additional training in neurology and served as a mental health mentor at the University.

Helping people has always been Krista’s calling. And now, nearly two decades after starting her journey in medicine as a Nursing Assistant, Krista has accomplished her dream of becoming a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner. While managing a full-time nursing career where she has worked in dual diagnosis centers, CRCs, emergency rooms, infusion therapy, MAT and young adult units, Krista worked tirelessly in her off hours dutifully earning her degree as a Master of Science PMHNP-BC.

Thomas's foundational philosophy in treating patients is centered around a holistic approach, where medication management plays a role but is not the sole focus. He firmly believes in integrating psychotherapy and encouraging patients to actively participate in their mental health care, ensuring a comprehensive treatment plan. His professional background spans various settings, including working under the medical director for Northern Nevada's adult mental health system and at a federally qualified health center in Erie, PA. He is also a proud member of the Nursing Honor Society.
