As an adult psychiatrist who has chosen to pursue further specialization in child and adolescent psychiatry, I provide medication management and psychotherapy to patients of all ages. I have expertise in women’s mental health, burn out, anxiety/OCD, mood disorders, ADHD, psychosis, PTSD, and addiction. As a former teacher, my goal is for my patients to feel understood, as well as to better understand their own conditions and their treatment. I have a particular interest in treating children, young adults/transitional age youth, and parents. I believe that for our children to do well, we must first support their caregivers.

ACCEPTING NEW PATIENTS...I am a UPenn-trained, fully licensed and boarded psychiatrist. I help people resolve psychological or psychiatric problems that keep them from fully enjoying their lives. Some of my patients struggle with anxiety, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, and panic. Others have trouble coping with stress arising from major life events, grief, or relationship difficulties. Some simply wish to understand themselves better or to live more intentionally.

Rachel completed medical school at the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University and psychiatric residency at the University of Maryland/Sheppard Pratt program, where she served as a chief resident for inpatient psychiatry, the Sheppard Pratt hospital, and diversity, equity, and inclusion. She works with patients to understand their mental health goals and determine the best strategy to meet them, including therapy, lifestyle changes, and medication.

I work with individuals struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma, and relationship difficulties who are ready for change. I help them reduce their distress and improve their sense of well-being. For some, a short-term course of medication or targeted psychotherapy (talk therapy) may be enough. For others, we may embark on a more long-term treatment. Regardless of the duration of our time together, my ultimate goal is empowering you to live a fulfilling life.

Mental health symptoms can be debilitating and may negatively impact various aspects of daily living. Through my experience in the field of psychiatric nursing I understand that each client's needs are unique to themselves. My approach to treatment is to work with each client in identifying and understanding these specific needs and goals when developing a treatment plan. This shared decision-making model allows each client to make informed choices about their own care.

Christine Arezzi is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Pennsylvania who has been practicing since 2022. She has a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, a Bachelor of Science in Nursing, a Master's of Science in Nursing, and a Post-Masters Certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing-Across the Lifespan. First and foremost, Christine listens to you. She provides a safe space to voice your concerns and takes the time to understand. Christine provides a holistic approach to treatment by encompassing a client's personal preferences with the knowledge of the latest evidence-based treatments for mental health.

Dr. Francisco-Solon is a Board Certified Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist who worked at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia for 14 years in many different capacities. She spent most of her time in the outpatient faculty practice, wherein she assumed clinical and leadership role as Interim Medical Director. She provided clinical supervision for the Child and Adolescent Psychiatry fellows, as well as teaching and supervising medical students and rotating residents from the Adult Psychiatry program at the University of Pennsylvania.
