I have experience working with adult, adolescent, and geriatric populations in high-acuity inpatient and outpatient settings. In addition, I have experience assessing, diagnosing, educating, and treating mental health patients ages 5-99.

My focus is on making precise and accurate diagnoses that then drive my psychopharmacologic approaches. I also employ an eclectic psychotherapeutic approach that includes using biblical perspectives as well as psychodynamic and cognitive restructuring modalities. I place a strong emphasis on establishing rapport and using the most robust psychotherapeutic approaches in dealing with complicated and treatment-resistant cases. I also employ much flexibility in my time spent with patients to allow for maximum effectiveness.

Nytisha Smith is a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Cleveland, Ohio. She attended Case Western University where she obtained her degree as a registered nurse and her Master degree for Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner certification. She now practices full time, and works with patients between the ages of 4-26 to treat anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Nytisha uses a combination of medication management and psychotherapy to make sure that her patients have a well balanced care plan that they feel good about. She likes for her patients to feel as though she is a partner in their care.

I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with 6 years of nursing experience in the outpatient mental health setting and one year of nursing experience in the substance abuse setting. I am passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health service to adolescents and adults. My ultimate goal is for my patient’s to feel empowered to treat their mental illness and reduce mental health and addiction stigma through a supportive and safe environment.

Dr. Arballo is board-certified psychiatrist who completed medical school at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine. He received residency training at University of Texas Health - San Antonio where in addition to clinical training was appointed resident chair of the Quality Improvement and Patient Safety Committee.

Children and young adults in today's world face numerous stressors and difficulties. Dealing with mental health conditions on top of the day-to-day stress can be overwhelming for both the patient and their caregivers. As a Nurse Practitioner (NP) who is certified in both mental health and pediatric primary care, I help manage my patients' mental health conditions so that they can live their best lives. I am a dual licensed and board certified Nurse Practitioner in both Psychiatric Mental Health (PMHNP) and Family Medicine (FNP). Prior to my work in psychiatry, I spent over 10 years working in a mix of emergency medicine, trauma care, urgent care and covering for primary care providers.

Dr. Richard Sanders was born in Akron Ohio. He has lived in Ohio for most of his life. He has a BS in psychobiology from Centre College of Kentucky, an MS in biology from Akron University, and an MD from Wright State University. He completed residency in general psychiatry at University of Pittsburgh / Western Psychiatric Institute and Clinic in 1992. He has worked with active-duty military in the US Air Force, with military veterans in the VA, and with civilians in several settings. He has been active in research and teaching throughout his career.
