She graduated, Summa Cum Laude, from Pace University - Leinhard School of Nursing with a Master of Science Degree. Grace Onovo is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and Family Nurse Practitioner with 22 years of experience - 6 of those years are devoted to psychiatric care. She spent 16 years treating patients with Substance-Use Disorders and mental illnesses. She specializes in Medication Management and Medication Assisted Treatment (Suboxone). She assesses, diagnoses and treats adults and children with sleep disorders, Anxiety, Depression, Bipolar Disorder, PTSD, OCD and much more. She offers Individual, Group, Family, and Support Therapies in addition to Motivational Interview Therapy.

Trained in clinical and administrative skills, Dr. Parikh worked as a faculty at NYPH in Westchester since 2002. She had been the Chief of Eating disorder, treating inpatient and outpatient child, adolescent and adults. Her expertise has resulted in book chapters and few publications. Her ongoing areas of interest include integrating nutrition , physical movement and improved sleep practices as foundations and multi-level response for care. Overall Sifat tends to be more conservative in her prescribing practices, especially in regards to prescribing controlled substances.

I graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania and earned my MD from Jefferson Medical College. I completed my Psychiatry residency at Mount Sinai (NYC) where I received extensive training in Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. My specialties are in the areas of mood, anxiety and eating disorders. I am also trained and certified as a health coach by The Institute for Integrative Nutrition. I have maintained a private practice in Scarsdale since 2005 and I am now thrilled to be able to offer my services to patients in Florida via my telemedicine practice.
