Dr. Jillian Saad is a board-certified adult psychiatrist who specializes in patient-centered care. She has been practicing for over 8 years in private practice and academic medicine. Dr. Saad focuses on medication management in 30-minute follow-up visits in conjunction with supportive and emotionally focused therapy. She takes a patientcentered approach that acknowledges all the psychosocial aspects of each individual to ensure they receive the most effective treatment possible.

Dr. Amber Blue is a board-certified psychiatrist trained in Adult Psychiatry. She completed her residency at Yale University. She offers medication management in 30-minute follow-up visits informed by her psychotherapy experience. Occasionally she may believe additional therapy would be beneficial and therefore recommend you add a therapist to your care team for the best results.

Dr. Farooq was born and raised in Karachi, Pakistan. She obtained her medical degree from one of the most prestigious medical schools in Pakistan, Dow Medical College, before she moved to the USA to pursue a career in Psychiatry. She completed her residency in General Psychiatry at the New York Medical College-Westchester Medical Center located in Valhalla, New York. Rebecca is a board certified Staff Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner at Talkiatry. She has extensive experience evaluating and treating adults in a variety of settings over the past 10 years. Previously, she's worked at Elmhurst Hospital’s Comprehensive Psychiatric Emergency Program, Gracie Square Hospital on an inpatient unit, and community health settings and skilled nursing facilities. As a nurse practitioner, she believes that addressing mental health concerns is just as important as addressing physical concerns. She values the therapeutic relationship with a collaborative and empathic approach to treatment.

Dr. Ellis is a staff psychiatrist for Talkiatry. He has been practicing for more than 28 years. He is board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. In addition, Dr. Ellis is certified by the American Board of Adolescent Psychiatry and is a member of the American Society for Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr. Ellis provides comprehensive psychiatric evaluations. He offers follow-up medication management and incorporates supportive therapy and CBT in subsequent 30-minute visits. When indicated, Dr. Ellis encourages family involvement in the treatment process.

Dr. Caitlin Aguiar is a board-certified adult psychiatrist. Her mental health care incorporates a holistic approach, while treating clients to facilitate healing and wellness. She incorporates non-pharmaceutical interventions to supplement medication-management including, but not limited to, mindfulness, breathwork, CBT, DBT and supportive therapy in 30min sessions.

Dr. Lee Dockery serves as a general pscyhiatry provider for Talkiatry since joining in August 2022. He is board-eligible with expected certification in fall 2022, with further addiction psychiatry board-certification expected in 2023. He has been training and practicing psychiatry since 2018. Dr. Dockery’s practice emphasizes medication management within a therapy-informed framework, utilizing skills from Acceptance and Commitment therapy, mindfulness based therapies, motivation interviewing, and supportive therapy. Typically, he offers 60-minute new visits and 30-minute follow-up visits.

Dr. Mendez Maldonado is double board-certified in general psychiatry and geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Mendez Maldonado focuses on medication management. She offers this in conjunction with supportive therapy, cognitive behavioral techniques, a focus on and nutritional psychiatry and 30-minute follow-up visits. She received her medical degree from University of Puerto Rico School of Medicine.

Dr. Jabari Jones is a Board-Certified Psychiatrist and an Emotional Health Consultant who has worked extensively with individuals and groups in both the public and private sectors for over a decade. His areas of focus are anxiety, depression, lifecycle-issues and trauma. Dr. Jones has an interest in Positive Psychology a field of study dedicated to human well-being and flourishing. Dr. Megan Wynne is board certified in adult psychiatry and completed fellowship training in Consultation-Liaison Psychiatry (Psychosomatic Medicine). She has been in practicing psychiatry since 2006. Dr. Wynne completed her medical degree at Drexel University School of Medicine in Philadelphia, PA, her psychiatric residency at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia, PA and her consultation/liaison psychiatric fellowship at Long Island Jewish Hospital in Queens, NY. Following a move to New Zealand, she worked as lead psychiatrist for Te Puna Waiora, Maori Mental Health team at Counties Manakau District Health Board.

Dr. Powers is a board-eligible Psychiatrist. She received her advanced medical degree from Adelphi University and completed her psychiatry residency training at SUNY Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center. She also holds a master’s degree in Developmental Psychology from Columbia University. She has practiced in various settings over her career including treating adults in psychiatric inpatient, outpatient, and ER settings. She has worked intensively with PTSD in veterans. Dr. Powers has instructed and supervised residents and medical students at multiple locations.

He has practiced in various settings over his career including 5 years in inpatient settings in Vermont, where he also served as Medical Director for a state hospital psychiatric unit and taught medical students, followed by 5 years in an outpatient community mental health center in Pennsylvania before beginning his telepsychiatry practice serving individuals in Pennsylvania, Florida and New York.

Dr. Wellin is a staff psychiatrist at Talkiatry. She is double board certified in child and adolescent psychiatry and in adult psychiatry, She has been in private practice for 44 years as well as working in community clinics. Dr. Wellin's practice focuses on medication management in conjunction with supportive psychotherapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. She encourages a team approach involving psychotherapists, medical doctors, and parents and family when appropriate, to provide holistic care for optimal outcomes. Her primary current focus is on adolescents and college-aged patients.

Dr. Dunn completed her medical training at University of California, Irvine School of Medicine and moved to New York to complete her psychiatric residency training at Mount Sinai Beth Israel. During her training, she gained extensive clinical experience treating patients of all ages and backgrounds. She co-led a mindfulness group in the outpatient clinic, worked with students at Baruch College and rotated with the Assertive Community Treatment team at MSBI. Ultimately she chose to specialize in outpatient care, specifically treating patients with mood and anxiety disorders.
