I am a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and I specialize in managing the mental health needs of patients aged 6 and up. Over the years, I have worked in both inpatient and outpatient mental health managing the emotional and mental health needs of a variety of patients. I had the privilege of managing the mental health needs of our veterans at the Las Vegas VA Hospital for about a decade. In my transition to private practice, I provide care for children, teens as well as adults in outpatient services at Meadows Psychiatry.

Dr. Chidiogo Nwokike is a compassionate and competent Board Certified Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with years of experience in treating individuals with mental illness. My Objective is to help my clients achieve overall wellness by offering treatments that produce desired results. I am attentive to my clients’ complaints and provide best-evidence based treatment. Mental health is more than just the absence of illness; hence, I utilized a holistic approach in treating my clients.

My practice is integrated care for adults (psychiatric medication management, psychedelic esketamine (Spravato) treatments, primary care, weight loss injection therapy and asthetics). I am board certified in medical and psychiatric care. I understand that you are coming to me at one of the most vulnerable and difficult times in your life. I am a board-certified psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner. Between my time as a registered nurse and an advanced practice registered nurse, I have gained experience in providing psychiatric and mental health services in a wide variety of settings including inpatient units, outpatient practices, transitional living facilities, and community mental health centers. I pride myself with being a culturally sensitive “people person”. I am non-judgmental and have the basic understanding that as humans we all want live our best lives and be the best version of ourselves.

With this being said, I treat my patients with respect by utilizing a holistic patient-centered approach to psychiatric care by integrating core values in medical/nursing practice and evidence-based psychiatric treatments. Although certified to provide psychiatric care across the life span, I prefer to provide comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnosis, and medication management to patients 12+ of age. I offer to assist you with effective and affordable treatments. I perform periodic evaluations with blood/urine tests for disease monitoring. I am there when needed.

My personal goal is to shift the stigma of mental health. Provide services to rethink how we treat and manage mental health. My current practice is in Oklahoma I like to state I work to put myself out of business; meaning I want to see people get to their best self .
