I view mental health as a regular part of our routine healthcare needs and hope to reduce stigmas in my office. My goal is for patients to participate in a non-judgmental session where they feel comfortable to be open and honest about their goals. As a provider, my goal is to provide a holistic treatment approach while respecting your autonomy, lifestyle, goals, spirituality, socioeconomic factors, and personal beliefs.
I enjoy working with veterans, first responders, women, and pregnant/post-partum patients. I understand the unique difficulties veterans and first responders may experience that differs from normal civilian life. I also understand the intense transformative time that occurs during pregnancy and post-partum and the importance of support during that time.
No one needs to suffer alone; it is ok to ask for help. My goal is for my patient to leave my office feeling heard, validated, and confident in their treatment plan. In order to form a strong therapeutic relationship and create realistic goals, patient honesty and transparency with the provider is most important.
