She has worked in the Veteran’s’ Administration caring for veterans with serious mental illness, PTSD, anxiety, depression and bipolar disorder. She has managed acute care patients in an inpatient setting as well as with the geriatric population. She has a Master's Degree from the University of Maryland and a Doctorate from Chatham University.
