We have extensive mental health experience, and we have practiced in a variety of settings including long term care, outpatient clinics, in patient and psychiatric emergency settings. Our goal is to collaborate with clients to improve/restore levels of functioning.

Mental Health and Wellness requires individualized approach. My goal of treatment is to collaborate with the client, identify and improve client's strengths while working with them to identify and work on areas of weakness. There is no magic pill to take away stress, but it's effect on our mental health can be effectively managed using joint effort. Limitations exist solely within us, we can realize our full potential with adequate support and the right mind-set.

I am a Psychiatric Mental-Health Nurse Practitioner with 30 years experience in the field. I am a graduate of Johns Hopkins University and University of Maryland Schools of Nursing. I have practiced in inpatient, emergency room, mobile crisis, home care, day hospital, and out patient settings. I am licensed to provide psychiatric evaluation, medication management and psychotherapy to ages 16 and over. I have specialized in geriatric, adult and young adult , substance misuse, mood disorder, anxiety disorder, adoption, grief, gender identity and family crisis. I recently became certified as a psychedelic assisted therapist.

Mimi Tyson is a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner in Maryland and the District of Colombia. Mimi Tyson is accepting new clients for telehealth and in-person sessions. She can prescribe psychiatric medications and provide therapy. She strives to provide quality services to individuals struggling with mental health disorders. She has experience serving individuals with diverse psychiatric conditions, including mood disorders, thought disorders, anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and substance use disorders.

Our OMHC takes a multi-disciplinary team approach to assist the patient in resolving various issues in their behavioral and mental health. AEHS provides intake and assessment, individual, family, couples, and group therapy, as well as referral and medication management services. Dr. Brett Greenberger is dually board-certified in Child/Adolescent Psychiatry and Adult Psychiatry. He specializes in the treatment of children, adolescents, young adults and adults. He is the founder of Collaborative Counseling Center in Howard County, MD (www.collaborativecounselingcenter.com). He provides psychiatric services including psychiatric evaluations, ADHD evaluations and medication management. He believes in treating the whole client as they exist within their environment, which includes their family, school and community. Dr. Greenberger uses a strengths-based approach to treatment that focuses on improving client overall health and wellness.

We understand that health and wellness is particularly difficult with all the struggles we face today. Long Integrated hopes to provide behavioral health care to adolescents and adults suffering from depression, insomnia, anxiety, ADHD, schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. How Can We Help? Where does change begin? At some point in life, we all have challenges that cause us to seek change! Change begins with you selecting Citywide Behavioral Health (CBH). Citywide is a client-focused, culturally competent, strength-based, behavioral health program. We provide mental health and substance abuse services to adults. Citywide offers individualized care for our consumers including psychotherapy, medication management (also injections), psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP), IOP and OP groups. In addition, we are a licensed residential housing program (3.5-3.1) for adults with dual diagnosis.

I have openings for medication management, but unfortunately a waitlist for therapy at this time. I am in-network with some Aetna, Cigna, and United Healthcare plans.
