Citywide is a client-focused, culturally competent, strength-based, behavioral health program. We provide mental health and substance abuse services to adults. Citywide offers individualized care for our consumers including psychotherapy, medication management (also injections), psychiatric rehabilitation program (PRP), IOP and OP groups. In addition, we are a licensed residential housing program (3.5-3.1) for adults with dual diagnosis.

I am double board-certified in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. I believe in using both medication when indicated as well as therapy. I was trained in CBT and was given the Excellence in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy during my residency program. I use supportive therapy with each client I see. She brings her 10+ years of experience treating trauma disorders, mood disorders, and substance abuse as well as extensive work in crisis stabilization. She provides general psychiatry as well as ketamine-assisted therapy through infusions at our Bethesda clinic.

My ideal client is someone who understands that medications alone will not lead you to optimal mental health. My specialty is medication management, but I tell all my clients that medications are only 25 percent of the puzzle piece.
