I started Serenity Heart Healthcare because I wanted to build an organization where I could provide care that focused on identifying the root cause of a person's health condition and provide care from a holistic perspective. I want Serenity Heart to be an organization that provides the tools, education and care that allows a person to cultivate a mentally, spiritually and physically healthy self.

As an experienced Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP), my ideal client is someone facing various significant mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, etc., yet is motivated to improve their well-being. They show the courage and willingness to seek help and work towards a better life. They need a provider who can provide empathetic, personalized care and empower them with the tools and support necessary to achieve their goals and enhance their overall well-being. Together, we will develop an individualized treatment plan and gain effective coping strategies.

I have always enjoyed working with people who have a desire to see treatment as a partnership. I have been in practice for many years and have treated a wide range of people. I began to use pharmacogenetic testing to assist the development of treatment as a partnership. Each individual has the opportunity to see what medications are most successful for them.

She later returned to advance her education and clinical expertise, by obtaining a Post Master's degree from the University of Cincinnati.
