Dr. Davila was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She has been the Awakenings Medical Director since January, 2022. She completed her medical school training in Buenos Aires before moving to Kansas City where she completed her psychiatric residency training at UMKC. She has been practicing in the community since 1998 and has served in many positions in local universities and hospitals. She is a bilingual (Spanish) physician that has a passion for serving those in her community and helping with their needs.

My patient care is built on empathy, compassion, and evidence-based practices. I believe that every person has a unique story which deserves individualized care. I became a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to treat emotional pain, assist clients and their families adapt to mental health changes, and to normalize mental health in our community. She obtained her BSN from Creighton University in 2007, and her MSN from Rush University in 2014. In 2022, she completed a fellowship for integrative psychiatry at the Integrative Psychiatry Institute in Boulder, Colorado. Jessica practices with the principles of holistic healing that focus on mind, body, and lifestyle. She has over 15 years of experience working in the mental health field in various settings and now works with adults in an outpatient setting.

Dr. Dillon is a board-certified nurse practitioner who specializes in ketamine assisted therapy. He has been with Discovery MD since March, 2022. He has fellowship training in psychedelic assisted therapy, examining ketamine, MDMA, and psilocybin for depression, anxiety, and PTSD. Dr. Dillon is passionate about empowering patients in their own healing process and addressing root causes of behavior patterns. He is focused on helping patients achieve sustainable mental and physical wellness by integrating aspects of mind, body, and spirit.
