I help men and women struggling with anxiety, depression, insomnia, and PTSD/trauma to feel empowered, regain confidence, and achieve emotional wellness. I specialize in mental healthcare for women who experience hormone fluctuations throughout the menstrual and reproductive years, perimenopause, and menopause. I empower my patients with the knowledge, skills, and resources to make informed decisions about their mental health. I believe that long term health and happiness are not only possible, they are also sustainable. I love helping my patients heal so they can live and love fully once again.

As a mental health practitioner, I aim to enhance mental wellness and soothe the frayed nerves of those overwhelmed by life experiences. My restorative approach to mental health, attracts clients interested in the root cause of their mental health symptoms. I believe in treatment from a holistic perspective, involving mind, physical body, intuition, and spirit. Currently, I am licensed in Idaho and Oregon.

Amber created Tulia, believing that everyone faces a unique set of problems that stem from the many factors that impact our mental health. Tulia takes a holistic, managed approach to your mental health. We screen your physical health, understand your history, listen to your concerns, and partner with you to find solutions. All intakes start with blood work to rule out various physical issues affecting mental health. Tulia also looks at missed opportunities for health, such as nutrition, sleep, exercise, and social connections.

Accepting New Patients at Omega Health Services. Chris grew up on a farm in upstate New York and spent 25 years in the US Army, mostly in Infantry and special operations units. He has a BA in History and Military Science from the State University of New York and Syracuse University, where he was a Distinguished Military Graduate. Chris is a graduate of the University of Utah’s Physician Associate Program, which is consistently ranked among the top 5 programs in the country. He has practiced in Arizona, Washington, Wyoming, and Idaho, and has a particular experience in sleep medicine, internal medicine, and psychiatry.

As a psychiatric and mental health nurse practitioner the most significant part of my work is to provide a healing presence. Healing presence is being consciously and compassionately in the present moment with another or with others, believing in and affirming their potential for wholeness, wherever they are in life. I have found this an invaluable tool when dealing with patients in a mental crisis. It has helped me dismantle mistrust, helped me create rapport, helped me creating a lasting therapeutic relationships with my patients. When you are completely present, you stay awake to each unfolding moment.

I love working with children and families. I also love working with developmentally delayed children and adults. I will see all ages of clients though. I believe that every client I see wants to be as functional as the people that they see around them. My goal is to get them to a place where they feel that they can function within their role in society and feel fulfilled. Everyone in this world needs validation and to feel loved and needed. Often when we are struggling with mental health issues, those needs aren't being met. I want to get my patients to a place where they functioning and meeting those needs.

I am a licensed psychiatric nurse practitioner and I work with individuals across the lifespan. I offer in person for Idaho and Telehealth for WA and ID. I believe all people need to be heard and listened to. I also believe everyone needs to be a collaborator in their own treatment. I will only offer treatments that you and I have agreed on. I treat all psychiatric illnesses in children and adults. My number one goal is to get you feeling better. Together we will explore what is happening in your life. Together we will find a way for you to enjoy life and to heal. It will be a honor to travel with you on your journey to wellness.

Born and raised near Boise, Shannon is a true Idaho native. She graduated with honors from the nurse practitioner program at Walden University in 2018, and has been a nurse for 20 years with experience in ICU and ER. She is married and has two daughters along with two bulldogs. She enjoys hiking, biking, and cheering for her daughters at sporting events. Shannon feels that every person deserves access to a provider who will advocate on his or her behalf. She encourages collaboration with other healthcare modalities along with the use of medications when needed.

Rachel has over 25 years in the mental health field, 15 of them as a nurse practitioner in mental health. She has worked in outpatient settings as well as inpatient at State Hospitals and behavioral health facilities. She is a firm believer in a patient centered approach, utilizing evidenced based traditional and alternative treatments to help individuals maintain their highest level of functioning. Rachel believes that therapy is an important part of treatment highly recommends patients continue counseling with their providers. She prefers coordinating with primary care providers for optimal care.

Ms. Jennifer Sims is a Board Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner who has over 25 years of experience in psychiatry and in a variety of settings including inpatient, academics, and outpatient. Ms. Sims received her Master’s in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing from Indiana University. She is also a Psychiatric Clinical Nurse Specialist and has an MBA. Her clinical passion is Patient-Centered Care and working in collaboration with Clients to assist them with their mental health well-being. She treats a variety of psychiatric disorders to include, depression, anxiety, and mood disorders.

My approach to care is rooted in empathy, respect, and collaboration. I understand that each individual is unique, and I tailor my treatment plans to meet the specific needs and preferences of my patients. Whether it's managing medications or offering guidance and support, I prioritize open communication and active involvement in the decision-making processes. By fostering a therapeutic partnership built on trust and mutual respect, I empower my patients to take control of their mental health journey and work towards their goals.

I am bringing over 27 years of experience to a new outpatient practice here in Idaho, specializing in adult psychiatry. Previously, I served 8 years as the Medical Director of Inpatient Psychiatry for Bon Secours Health System in Richmond, VA. I provide Online sessions statewide as well as in-person appointments in CDA. Other features of my practice included: Timely scheduling of initial appointments; Longer appointment sessions; timely responses via our messaging & email system; electronic prescribing, and electronic lab ordering.

Rene Alamo is an Idaho native who attended Gonzaga University’s Graduate School of Nursing to achieve his Master’s degree in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP). When Rene started his journey into nursing he dedicated his career to his late grandmother, Trini. With that dedication, his goal is to provide every one of his patients with the highest quality compassionate and competent care. He treats patients across the age spectrum from children to geriatric. His goal as an advanced practice provider is to extend evidence based, compassionate and competent care to treat our communities' mental health needs.

My experience has been gained through various positions in the field of nursing as a registered nurse in the occupational, long term acute care, and psychiatric/mental health before moving into the role of a health care provider. I am a committed and hardworking individual with excellent communication and prioritization skills. I believe in being proactive and I am excellent at setting and attaining work related goals.
