Lindsey Ann Nichols is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners at the Smyrna office for Georgia Behavioral Health Professionals. Lindsey has years of experience in primary care and now specializing in psychiatry. Her clinical background allows her to use a holistic approach in patient care. Lindsey works closely with her supervising physician Dr. Karl Mihalovits and provides medication management for adults 18 years and older.

Karl Mihalovits, M.D. is a licensed and board certified psychiatrist from the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology in 1970. Karl Mihalovits, M.D. specializes in adult and geriatric psychiatry. Dr. Mihalovits sees patients for initial evaluations, medication management and workers compensation reviews. He also specializes in treating patients using psychopharmacology that deals with mental illnesses, depression, and anxiety disorders.

Deena enjoys seeing patients of all ages, cultures, and backgrounds. She provides comprehensive psychiatric care including initial evaluations, psychotherapy and medication management. She manages many disorders including but not limited to: depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disease and schizophrenia. Deena stands ready to see ages adolescents starting at age 8 to adults.

Dr. Hemachandra Gunawardhana hails from the Island Nation of Sri Lanka. He is Board-Certified with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology and held numerous positions of responsibility on the hospital staffs he served and has a tremendous amount of experience in the practice of Psychiatry. Dr. Hana is a member of the American Medical Association. He was elected a Fellow of the American Psychiatric Association in 1995. He is a consultant psychiatrist at Summit Ridge Hospital in Lawrenceville, GA and works in the E. C. T Dept in there as well.

Tommie Richardson is a board-certified Addiction Medicine Physician at LifeStance Health. Dr. Richardson is a physician specializing in addiction medicine, recovery and psychopharmacology. Dr. Richardson has over thirty years of experience in identifying, diagnosing and treating chemical dependence and psychiatric illness. Dr. Richardson currently has his private practice at the Smyrna office of LifeStance Health. Dr. Richardson has also worked at Tangu, Inc. , a private counseling and therapy service center.

Latasha Martin, NP LaTasha Martin is a dual certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing in the mental health specialty since 2018. In 2016, she graduated from the University of South Alabama in Mobile, AL with a Master of Science in Nursing. She completed her Post-Masters certification from Georgia State University in 2022. LaTasha believes in helping patients formulate and achieve challenging goals in order to accomplish overall mental wellness.

Dr. Akin Ayeni is an addiction disease specialist with special skill and interest in behavioral health with over 38 years in medical practice. Dr. Ayeni became an Oxford Scholar upon completion of the British Medical Practice program in Exeter, UK. Dr. Ayeni has been involved in the treatment of addiction both as a clinician and as a policy maker for several states including Maryland, Kansas, Delaware, Virginia, Pennsylvania and Georgia. While in Maryland he designed the Maryland Department of Safety Policy for the Re-entry Program. This program was so successful that the drug Czar under President George W.

Enika McClain is a Certified Dual Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner, who has been practicing nursing for 21 years. She graduated from Albany Technical College with a degree in Licensed Practical Nursing in 2001. She then received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Albany State University in 2006. In 2017 she attained a Masters of Science in Nursing with a specialization in Family Nurse practitioner from South University. In August 2021 she received her Post Master's Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner from Liberty University.

Diana Manjarres is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner authenticated by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC). She worked as a critical care nurse for many years. She noticed how patients with histories of mental illness (from anxiety, depression, to schizophrenia) were easily dismissed in hospital settings. She found herself being an advocate for this patient population. She hopes to help her patients take a pause and just breathe again. She says "Sometimes, we go through life surviving and I hope that, through my services, I can help people start living - truly living for themselves."
