Dr. Coker provides psychiatric evaluations and follow-up appointments taking the time to learn the history, life experiences and current circumstances of the patient seeking treatment. Dr. Coker provides a warm environment fostering patience and understanding as she and the patient formalizes a tailored treatment plan for optimal outcomes.

Many patients struggle to find a clinician that is relatable and compassionate, or they are frustrated that they will not be given an individualized approach to their treatment. I offer an evaluation that looks at many facets of a persons life that could be contributing to their mood and/or anxiety disorders. During an evaluation we will discuss medical history, environment, past trauma and lifestyle issues that will help formulate an integrative treatment plan. Diet, gut health, supplements, and inflammation all are considered in the treatment plan. I am totally virtual, I have practiced this way for over 10 years prior to COVID.

I treat individuals ages 18+ who are going through difficult life circumstances including depression, anxiety, trauma, relationships, and job/school stress. I also manage medications for Bipolar Disorder and schizophrenia. My clinical practice goes beyond specialized knowledge in behavioral sciences. Dr. Chasity J. Carswell is a double board certified Psychiatric Mental Health and Family Nurse Practitioner with over 9 years of experience. She is the founder and owner of Collaborating Minds LLC. Dr. Chasity received a Master of Science Degree in Nursing with a concentration in Family Nurse Practitioner in May 2014. She then went on to pursue a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree with a concentration in Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in August 2019. Dr. Chasity has worked in a variety of settings to include outpatient, inpatient crisis stabilization units, substance abuse detoxification and psychiatric consult liaison.

Total Home Detox is a Georgia medical in-home detox program utilizing a psychiatrist specializing in detox protocols. Susan Stein, a psych/detox registered nurse will administer the detox in the comfort of your own home.
