I’m an Psychiatrist with over 40 years experience in the Mental Health and Behavioral Health industry. I am Board Certified ABPN since 1985. I’m experience to diagnose and prescribe medication for patients with mental health issues. I have been working for Ascend Behavioral Health Services in Psychiatry since July of 2020. We specialize in Addiction/Substance Abuse, Medication Management to treat psychiatric issues like ADHD, Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, Psychosis, etc. We treat Children, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatry and Therapy.

Kristi works with patients across the lifespan and is currently licensed in four states. She welcomes clients seeking help for a wide variety of psychiatric mental health conditions including but not limited to; anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, obsessive compulsive disorders, addictions and insomnia. I was born in Miami but grew up right here in Boca Raton. I worked at Cleveland Clinic Hospital in Weston and later in the Miami Veterans Affairs Healthcare System. Serving those who served this country was one of the most humbling and enlightening experiences of my life, and it helped me to discover my true passion for Psychiatry. I completed my training in General Psychiatry in Miami and decided to move closer to family. I currently treat those with Anxiety and Panic Disorders, Bipolar Disorder, ADHD, PTSD and Depression. Sima Alavi is a Board Certified Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. She began her career in 1995, after graduating from the University of Miami and continued on to earn her masters and Doctorate degree in the field of mental health with specialization in both children and adults. Her focus is in rehabilitation, detoxification, and recovery for both inpatient and outpatient treatment centers. Through evaluation and stabilization, she targets treatment for individuals experiencing a crisis situation and those who seek the need for immediate intervention. She works collaboratively with fellow psychiatric practitioners

Dr. Kirit Saigal is a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner and with his Doctor of Medicine background, he specializes in adolescents, adults, and seniors. He utilizes mental health screening tools to diagnose and manage his patients’ mental health needs. He utilizes evidence-based assessments, medication management, and therapy treatment strategies to help individuals and their families reach their mental health goals.

Helen Lancy is a board-certified Nurse Practitioner with a Master’s in Nursing from Spring Arbor University, pursuing a Doctor of Nursing in Psychiatric Mental Health from the University of Missouri. With four years of adult-gerontology psychiatry experience, she specializes in anxiety, depression, mood disorders, ADHD, and trauma in adults 18+. Passionate about providing evidence-based, compassionate care, Helen is dedicated to serving patients from diverse backgrounds, particularly those in underserved communities. Helen champions patient empowerment, guiding her patients to take control of their health and emotional wellbeing.

I am specialized in Dual Diagnosis disorders. My background is Addiction Psychiatry. However, I also practice General Adult Psychiatry. Recently I was the Medical Director and also the Addiction Psychiatrist at a nationally known addiction treatment center in West Palm Beach, FL.

Born and raised in Cuba, Dr. Carmona received his Doctorate of Medicine (MD) in GI & Family Medicine at the Havana Medical School, and practiced as a physician from 2002 to 2009. In 2007, Dr. Carmona moved to the Republic of Namibia in Southern Africa, where for two years he provided critical medical services to roughly twenty-five thousand people living in rural villages and isolated areas.

I am Board Certified in Adult Psychiatry and have been practicing since 2005. I completed my residency from Tufts University in Boston, Massachusetts and my Fellowship in Addictions from the Robert Johnson Wood Foundation. In 2014, I was featured in SJ Magazine as one of New Jersey’s top psychiatrists. I have experience working with adults as well as adolescents suffering from both psychiatric diagnosis and substance use disorders and have extensive experience working in both out-patient and in-patient settings.
