As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner. I work with patients across the lifespan. My goal is to help each patient achieve their personal health care goal through evidence based guidance while providing accessible, and quality mental health care to promote the well being of individuals and families. Accepting New Clients. Appointments are typically available within 7 days. We offer Medication Management, Counseling/Psychotherapy, and Neuropsychological Testing online via our Telepsychiatry Services throughout Florida. Our team of experienced mental health professionals includes Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioners, Certified Physician Assistants, and Licensed Therapists. We care for adults, adolescents, and children, ages 5 and above. We accept most insurance plans including Medicare.

Dr. Alicia Garcete is a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist in practice for over 12 years. Her practice focuses on medication management, recognizing family involvement is extremely important and is an integral part of treatment. Dr. Garcete has treated a wide variety of patients. Her primary focus is treating depression, anxiety disorders, ADHD, PTSD and OCD. Additionally, she can provide supportive therapy and elements of cognitive-behavioral therapy but on occasions more therapy support may be needed, and the recommendation to bring a psychotherapist on the care team may occur to provide an optimal outcome.

Dr. Puja Kumar is trained in adult and child and adolescent psychiatry. She is a board-certified pediatrician who, after five years of pediatric practice, decided to pursue her passion in psychiatry. Dr. Kumar provides medication management in conjunction with supportive therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. In addition, she believes in taking a holistic approach to each patient and emphasizes the impact of lifestyle, parenting practices, and family dynamics in treatment.

Dr. Laura Ginory is double boarded in child and adolescent psychiatry and adult psychiatry. She has been practicing for over 12 years. Dr. Ginory's practice focuses on medication management, which is offered in conjunction with supportive therapy offered in 30 min visit follow-up visits. However occasionally Dr. Ginory may believe additional therapy is needed and ask that you bring a therapist into your care team to provide the best outcome.

Dr. Meena Shah is a board-eligible psychiatrist and has been practicing for over 16 years. She specializes in child and adolescent psychiatry. Dr. Shah's practice focuses on medication management in conjunction with supportive and emotionally focused therapy in 30-minute follow-up visits. Dr. Shah believes in the importance of building a therapeutic relationship with her patients and families to help them achieve emotional their goals. Dr. Shah has extensive experience with the child and adolescent population and worked with foster care programs as well as juvenile residential facility programs.

She completed her adult psychiatry residency at Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, BronxCare Health System and her fellowship in child and adolescent psychiatry at Northwell Health in New York. She has experience working in various settings including inpatient, outpatient, and the emergency department. Dr. Carvajal has submitted and presented work in the American Psychiatric Association and has also collaborated in a book publication.

Dr. Lourdes J Chahin is a bilingual (Spanish) Child, Adolescent and Adult psychiatrist. She has practiced in various settings over her career: outpatient private practice, community mental health, Nurse Practitioners and medical student supervision, partial hospitalization and dual diagnosis rehabilitation programs. She is licensed in the states of NY, Fl and GA. She has over 20 years of experience helping children, adolescents and adults who struggle with anxiety, depression, OCD, ADHD, phobias, bipolar mood disorder and many other psychiatric conditions.

Dr. Alexandra Hamlyn is a board-certified adult psychiatrist and board-eligible child and adolescent psychiatrist. Her primary focus is on medication management for anxiety and depression though she has gained expertise in multiple different therapy modalities. If appropriate, Dr. Hamlyn will refer you for psychotherapy and collaborate with your therapist to support your care. Dr. Hamlyn appreciates the importance of fostering a meaningful therapeutic relationship, and emphasizes the importance of mindfulness, self-compassion, and interpersonal relationships throughout treatment.
