Dr. Moyers is a graduate of the University of Utah's top-ranked Doctor of Nursing Practice program in Psychiatry and Mental Health where he was an R. Harold Burton Fellow. He has worked in all levels of psychiatric care over the last 12 years. His experience began as a psychiatric technician working with pediatric and adolescent patients, as a nurse with young adults in addiction recovery, and then as a charge nurse at the Utah State Hospital pediatric unit. Doctorate-level internships were completed at Polizzi Clinic, the Utah State Hospital, the VA Hospital, and West Ridge Academy.

My scope of practice and approach as a a psychiatric PA-C is influenced by my prior career as a social worker. Prior to PA school I worked in a psychology as a cognitive behavioral therapist for research in mood disorders and pain with the University of Texas at Arlington. Deciding I wanted to become more adept with psychiatrics assessments I moved to work in the emergency department at Texas Health Recourses Hospital In Dallas, Texas where I had multiple duties including administering psychiatric and chemical dependency assessments, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and resource coordination for multiple populations.

Individuals who are struggling with mental health issues are on the rise, especially considering all that has happened over the last few year. Struggling with mental health issues can be difficult and lead to feelings of hopelessness, making it hard to reach out for help. Please know that you are not alone, and that help is available. I received my MS in Health Education from Utah State University, my BSN from the University of Utah, and my MS in Nursing from Regis College. I have over 16 years of experience as a registered nurse in a variety of specialties including adult psychiatry, geriatric psychiatry, and substance abuse.

Dr. Parry is a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner (PMHNP-BC), with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice (DNP). She is passionate about providing quality, compassionate, and comprehensive mental health services to adolescents and adults. She maintains a comprehensive focus to care, including brief psychotherapy and prescribing mental health medications if indicated for adolescents and adults. She possesses strong clinical skills enhanced by natural ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Lindsey Gavin (she/her) earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis in Psychiatric-Mental Health from the University of Utah in May 2022. For the past 9 years, she has worked in inpatient and outpatient mental health, emergency medicine, substance use treatment, and veteran research. Since the start of her nursing career, Lindsey has always been drawn to helping patients with mental health needs. She recognizes her patients’ strength in adversity and is committed to helping them build resilience.

Suzanne Peterson is a Utah native and earned her bachelor’s in nursing from the University of Utah. Many years ago while taking nursing classes, her 3-year old daughter was diagnosed with leukemia, which caused Suzanne to become intensely interested in pediatric care. After her daughter entered remission, she worked in pediatric oncology for years, but Suzanne saw a great need for pediatric and family mental health services given the difficult situations she’d encountered in pediatric oncology. She returned to graduate school and graduated from Georgetown to become a family Nurse Practitioner, specializing in mental health.

I was born and grew up in Guadalajara, Mexico and I'm passionate about serving individuals from diverse backgrounds. I emphasize in collaborative care to create an individualized treatment plan combining knowledge of both physical and mental health care to achieve wellness.

In 2021, Dr. McKell (she/her/hers) earned her Doctor of Nursing Practice with an emphasis in psychiatric-mental health from the University of Utah. Katey started her career working primarily with adolescents at the Huntsman Mental Health (formerly University Neuropsychiatric Institute). She has over 10 years of in-patient mental health experience. Katey believes in using evidence-based therapies and creating a collaborative environment with her clients. She emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach and the use of medications along with therapy.

Heather M. Dangerfield is a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner in Utah who has been practicing since 2018. She has a Doctorate of Nursing Practice from the University of Utah and a Bachelor's of Nursing and Bachelor's in Psychology from Westminster College. As someone working in mental health for almost twenty years, Heather continues to have passion for treating each individual as just that, an individual with unique needs and perspectives who deserves tailored treatment instead of a one size fits all approach. Heather spends her free time spoiling her cat, reading, powerlifting, playing with Legos, and doing embroidery.

Samuel currently provides care through Numinus Wellness Utah at the Murray location! Sam graduated Cum Lade from Brigham Young University with a Bachelor of Science Exercise Science degree, and a Master in Public Health degree. Samuel received a Master of Science, Physician Assistant Studies degree from the Pacific University College of Health Professions in Hillsboro Oregon. Lin Clark is a doctorally prepared psychiatric nurse practitioner, who has been practicing since 2019. She graduated from the University of Pittsburgh in 2018 with a degree in psychiatric mental health across the lifespan. Lin sees patients ages 12+. Areas of focus include anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, psychosis, and ADHD. In her spare time, Lin enjoys delicious food, going on walks, and bathing her hairless pets.
