I launched my telepsychiatry practice in 2014 because I saw a need for high-quality, personalized psychiatric services that were also convenient for my patients. Due in large part to the Coronavirus pandemic, the need for convenient, online care has only increased. Since we have been doing this awhile, we know how to deliver high quality psychiatric care that maximizes convenience. I approach each new patient as a caring, sympathetic practitioner, taking the time to assess the challenges facing both the patient and their family. My main objective is to help children, adolescents, adults and their families by providing Psychodynamic Therapies to enable patients to develop a variety of coping skills that will help balance life. Medication management is offered with a careful, cautious approach.

I have over 35 years experience in the field of psychiatry. Anxiety and depression limit one's ability to pursue and have satisfying relationships and feel comfortable with themselves. I provide adult clients comprehensive psychotherapy and medication evaluation and treatment for the full range disorders. As an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) I am licensed to prescribe medication. I use the DNA Typing System for diagnosis and prevention of adverse drug reactions. I have a special interest working with clients experiencing long term medical conditions and their emotional, behavioral and cognitive responses.

I am a board certified Adult, Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist licensed in Connecticut and New York. I have extensive experience in diagnosing and practicing evidence-based medicine in children, adolescents, and adults who have anxiety disorders, obsessive-compulsive disorder, depression, mood disorders, post-traumatic stress disorder, and eating disorders as well as providing parenting and behavioral strategies. My philosophy is an integrative approach in treating the whole person - including the biological, psychological, social, cultural, and spiritual factors. I am a Connecticut native with European heritage and want to acknowledge the original habitants of the land I live on: the Hammonassets and Menunkatucks. I recognize myself as a privileged member of a white dominant world, and consistently try to challenge this norm.
