I am a Family Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner who is Board Certified. I have expertise in providing Psychiatric Assessments, Medication Management, Individual and Family Psychotherapy. Majority of my training and clinical experience has been at Bellevue Hospital, VA Hospitals and the Prison System.

I've been working as a Board Certified Psychiatrist for over 15 years, and throughout that time I've been most interested in working with individuals who struggle with addiction or co-occurring illnesses. I am able to provide my clients with outpatient detoxification from alcohol and opioids as long as safety criteria are met. Additionally, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences at Stanford University, where I work as a member of the Stanford Brain Stimulation Lab. My passion for empowering and aiding individuals in their wellness journey began 20 years ago. He has been active in mental health care for over a decade in a variety of different patient centered roles. Rory's previous professional experience has been with individuals across the spectrum of psychiatric care from those requiring acute stabilization to ongoing maintenance care. He worked at Yale Psychiatric Hospital, the Yale Crisis Intervention Unit, and High Watch Recovery Center among other settings. Rory received the Outstanding Newcomer Award from Yale New Haven Health System, being named one of the best APRNs hired in 2018.
