I always practice conservatively to ensure the patient is comfortable, safe and to avoid creating any substance dependency. My journey in psychiatry began with my residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, where I also had the honor of being the Senior Resident for their Outpatient Psychiatry Department. Furthering my expertise, I underwent a year of specialized training at UCLA's Mood Disorders Clinic. I am a humanistic psychiatrist with a rich background spanning over 15 years across academic, public, and private sectors.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

Joe is a board-certified Physician Assistant. He completed his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado in 2011. Afterwards, he attended the Interservice Physician Assistant Program through the Department of Defense and accredited by the University of Nebraska Medical Center. He was awarded a Master of Physician Assistant Studies degree and commissioned as an Officer in the US Army.​ As a PA, Joe has worked in variety of settings - including Urgent Care, Emergency Medicine, and has extensive knowledge in Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine from years of service in the substance use rehab industry.
