I am a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner specializing in the care of adult men and women working to overcome anxiety and/or depression. I hold an additional national certification as a certified nurse-midwife. I have extensive experience treating men and women with mood changes that can arise during the various stages of one's life. This includes, but is not limited to, addressing stressors related to life transitions, work, school, relationships, parenting, and care-taking of others. Seeking support at these challenging and vulnerable times is a brave and important step to feeling and functioning better in one's life.
I utilize a holistic approach to medication prescribing and management, incorporating a thorough assessment of an individual's physical, mental, and emotional health. I then partner with my client to define - and achieve - clear treatment goals. I encourage individuals to actively participate in their own care to support sustained emotional wellness.
I provide individualized care and treatment, offering 90 minute initial evaluations and 30 minute follow up visits. Together we will create a comprehensive plan for you that may include medication and/or lifestyle changes. I believe in a collaborative relationship where compassionate listening is a priority in supporting you on your path to better health.
