I have over 10 years of healthcare experience - 4 of those specializing in diagnosing and treating a wide range of mental health conditions including ADHD, depression, anxiety, addiction/substance abuse, insomnia, bipolar disorder, trauma, and more.

I have a long-held passion for mental healthcare and have worked with individuals of all ages in a variety of settings within psychiatry.

I currently accept new adult patients for medication management. My services include, but are not limited to psychiatric assessment, medication management and supportive therapy. My therapeutic style is casual, interactive and professional. I recognize mental health is uniquely personal, so I tailor evaluations and treatments to your needs. My experience being a Registered Nurse in a busy community emergency department has helped me view each patient individually. I hope to combat the stigma of mental health, bring awareness to the field, and be a good model for the community. I strive to make patients feel heard and taken care of.

Dr. Mark Chofla is a board-certified psychiatrist and physician who completed his specialty residency training at the Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center. After receiving his Bachelor of Science degree in Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior from the University of California at Davis, Dr. Chofla earned his medical degree from Midwestern University: Arizona College of Osteopathic Medicine.

am a board-certified psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, who has worked in several clinical specialties including the pediatrics unit, pediatric intensive care unit, adult medical-surgical unit, telemetry unit, adult inpatient psychiatry unit, and postpartum unit as a registered nurse. I received my Master of Science in Nursing from Azusa Pacific University in 2020 and am currently working toward my Doctorate in Nursing. After graduation, I completed a one-year residency for the Veterans Affairs in Sacramento and worked with veterans with severe mental illnesses, substance abuse, and post-traumatic stress disorder.

My experience ranges from emergency nursing, nursing management and psychiatry. I am an alumni of Azusa Pacific University and Loma Linda University School of Nursing.
