I have been in the private practice of psychodynamic psychiatry for over three decades. I provide psychotherapy and prescribe medication when indicated as an adjunct to your psychotherapy. I offer a safe, warm and trusting environment in which you can discuss your deepest concerns and you can feel that you are being listened to and truly heard. Together we would work to understand the conflictual issues that are contributing to your difficulties and that are preventing you from achieving your goals in your interpersonal, occupational and academic life. I can treat patients in DC, MD, VA, NY, NJ, and CA.

I've worked with clients of all backgrounds who have struggled with addiction, process disorders and various mental heath issues. My goal after the initial assessment, is to work with the client to develop a course of action to get better. With a combination of therapy, a treatment plan and medication (if applicable) we will get you, the client back into the normal stream of life.

I'm a Columbia University-trained psychiatrist focusing on women's mental wellness. In addition to my expertise in general and addiction psychiatry, I'm one of a few doctors with specialized training in women's mental health and reproductive psychiatry. I provide highly personalized and empathic treatment to women throughout the reproductive life cycle. I believe in treating both body and mind through mindful breathing and meditation in addition to talk therapy and the most up-to-date medication treatments. I treat patients with mood and anxiety symptoms, chronic pelvic pain, trauma, ADHD, addiction and eating disorders.

I am board certified in psychiatry and addiction. In addition to my medical expertise, I feel my personal lived experiences allow me to work with my clients as a team to create a positive impact on their lives and futures.

New Visions Medical Group was founded by Dr. Rodney Collins and is comprised of many psychiatrists, therapists and nurse practitioners who all specialize in mental issues and process disorders. We treat teenagers, adults and elderly patients at our location starting with assessment, diagnosis and medication management. Patients who suspect they may be suffering from depression, anxiety, ADHD, bi-polar disorder, addiction/alcoholism, and other process disorders are treated at our office. Located in Beverly Hills, California we service all of Los Angeles County and surrounding areas.

Renaissance Behavioral Medicine provides psychotherapy and medication management services for children, teens and adults for various mental health conditions including but not limited to major depressive disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, substance addiction and all anxiety disorders. Services are provided in person and via telehealth for Southern and Northern California residents.
