I earned my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the Medical University of South Carolina and my Master of Science in Nursing from the University of South Carolina. I specialize in medication management for individuals experiencing symptoms such as depression, anxiety, mood swings, psychosis, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

I moved to Charlotte after working for 4 years in PA in a inpatient psychiatric hospital and outpatient clinic. My outpatient experience was taking care of children, adolescents and adult patients with Autism Spectrum disorder, ADHD, Oppositional defiant disorder and mood disorders. My particular interests are Mood disorders, ADHD and Autism Spectrum disorder.

I specialize in child, adolescent and adult psychiatry. I provide comprehensive psychiatric and psychological diagnostic evaluations as well as evidenced and empirically-based psychotherapy & medication management treatment services for children, adolescents, adults and families. I have experience caring for Depressive, Bipolar, Autism spectrum, Anxiety, Substance abuse, Personality, Obsessive Compulsive, Tic, Attention Deficit/Hyperactivity, Disruptive Mood Dysregulation, Post Traumatic Stress and psychotic disorders. I also have experience and interest in the interface between religion-spirituality and psychiatry.

I am committed to caring for children, adults and families with mental health issues. Areas of expertise include the care of mental health in children and adults with complex medical and neurological problems, women during pregnancy and postpartum, psycho-dynamic oriented psychotherapy and attachment oriented psychotherapy. Board certified in Psychiatry and Neurology, Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and Psychosomatic Medicine.
