I am a Board Certified Advanced Practitioner and Physician Assistant who specializing in providing care to those affected by a wide range of psychiatric conditions. I specialize in medication management of a wide range of psychiatric conditions primarily including, depression, anxiety, ADD/ADHD, Bipolar and other Mood Disorders, PTSD and substance use disorders. I offer medication management only when necessary, while recognizing that each individual is unique and requires an individual treatment plan for optimal mental health and wellness outcomes.

I have been both a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner and a Pediatric Medical Registered Nurse for over 15 years. I have helped heal the child physically, and emotionally. I’ve assisted pre-teens and teenagers through their transition into adulthood. My youngest patient was one hour old, my eldest was 102 years old. I have traveled the country and have met, cared for, and treated people of different backgrounds, cultures, socioeconomic status, race, sexual orientation, and gender. My work experience as a Psychiatric NP includes an emergency room, outpatient, and inpatient psychiatric unit.

I am a fully licensed psychiatrist serving the NYC community with over 20 years of medical experience. Understanding the uniqueness of each patient’s situation is my main focus. As a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I evaluate and treat psychiatric symptoms such as those associated with ADHD, depression, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, bipolar disorder, anxiety, shizophrenia and other psychotic disorders.
