I am a Columbia University trained psychiatrist and neuroscientist. I offer talk-therapy and medication management for people with a range of mental-health concerns. I have extensive experience treating mood, anxiety and trauma-related disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), and obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD). Whether you’re experiencing low mood or anxiety, or are simply feeling stuck at work or in your relationships, I provide compassionate, thorough, and individualized psychiatric services. I offer both in person and virtual sessions.

I strive to understand each of my clients as an individual and to craft treatment options that are most appropriate to their needs and preferences. I have found that, where possible, it is best to take a minimalist approach to medication interventions, balancing these with appropriate therapy interventions and focus on life changes that can improve a client's mental health or addiction difficulties. Ibrahim Mulic, a Psychiatry Specialized & Certified Physician Associate, boasts extensive experience in diverse psychiatric disorders. His passion for psychology and medicine ignited during his youth, leading to active volunteerism and early immersion in the field. Graduating from St. John’s University's PA program at a young age, Ibrahim swiftly entered psychiatric medicine, collaborating with leading experts and eventually managing clinics independently.

I have a strong commitment to the well-being of my patients. My goal is to enable them to move on and maintain optimum quality of life, by providing support and a cutting edge, evidence-based care. After a comprehensive diagnostic evaluation and assessing individual's goals, together we discuss findings and recommendations and create strategy with a specific treatment plan. I work with individuals experiencing wide range of psychiatric issues, such as anxiety, relationship issues, career problems, OCD, PTSD, depression, bipolar disorder, etc. I enjoy working with patients of all ethnicities/religions/sexual orientations/identities.

I am an ivy league trained psychiatrist who is double board certified in adult and forensic psychiatry. I provide psychotherapy (talk therapy) and/or psychopharmacology (medication) to high functioning adults. Conditions treated in this practice include but are not limited to mood disorders, adjustment disorders, anxiety disorders, psychotic illnesses, interpersonal/relationship difficulties as well as issues around trauma, grief and loss. I am double board certified psychiatrist specializing in numerous psychiatric disorders as well as addiction disorders. I completed training at St. Lukes Roosevelt Hospital, Columbia and a specialty in Addiction at Beth Israel Hospital. For many years I was the Associate Director of the Psychiatric Emergency Department at Kings County Hospital and later became the Director of Woodhull Hospital in Brooklyn, NY. I have lectured about the many forms of addiction at conferences and participated in Grand Rounds for hospitals, discussing addiction and eating disorders.I am on the medical faculty at SUNY Downstate Hospital providing guidance, teaching and mentoring for psychiatric residents.

Dr. Jeffrey Ditzell enjoys practice as a General Adult Psychiatrist working in private practice in New York City. Dr. Ditzell's depth and breadth of clinical experience is unique, having served as the Chief of an inpatient Dual Diagnosis Unit, the lead attending in two Psychiatric ER's, the Lead Physician of an Assisted Community Treatment team, and the Medical Director of a large multidisciplinary nonprofit organization. Additionally Dr. Ditzell has been committed to the Service of Soldiers for over 20 years, having retired at the end of 2018 as Lieutenant Colonel in the United States Army.

I am a board certified Nurse Practitioner of Psychiatry with a Doctoral Degree from New York University. My clinical experience includes working with children, adolescents, adults, and older adults in both the inpatient and outpatient settings. I currently provide outpatient medication management and psychotherapy to my clients. In addition to my clinical work, I am a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner Program at NYU.

Habiba Mzougui is a Board Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with 15 years of experience treating patients across the lifespan. She is a graduate of Drexel University. She has cared for adults and children living with depression, anxiety, trauma, and childhood-related conditions such as ADHD, emotional dysregulation/anger management, learning, and behavioral challenges. NP Mzougui is passionate about the mental health of children and families. She believes the individual or family is the expert on their life, and collaboration with families results in the best outcome.

The stigma around mental health treatment can make initiation intimidating, because of this I offer a non judgmental and confidential space to get the treatment you need. As well I focus on the individual and not the diagnosis. Medication management cannot be performed properly if people are all treated the same. Services include medication management/review ,medical marijuana, and first time consultations to discuss a treatment plan. ADHD diagnosis/management is also provided. ADHD is often overlooked or under treated. My goal is to provide a personal experience where we work together for optimal care ensuring all needs are met.

She completed her training in adult psychiatry at New York Presbyterian Hospital - Cornell Medical Center. Dr. Lee has expertise in both psychopharmacology and psychotherapy, and is thus able to provide integrated and comprehensive treatment tailored to each individual patient. Dr. Lee also has extensive experience in biomedical research and received her Ph.D. in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry from Rockefeller University.

Life is challenging, and at times it can bring unusual emotional suffering that needs exploration and understanding. To work through these roadblocks​, we need someone non-judgmental who can listen with patience, empathy and undivided presence. Most of our traumas happen in relationships and the healing has to take place in this relational space, in an environment of emotional safety and trust. It is courageous to recognize that our vision of ourselves can have blind spot. We need mirroring from a thoughtful compassionate person who helps us rediscover freedom and authenticity in our relationships, work, and creative endeavors.
