The Holiday Season is approaching. It's supposed to be a time of joy and togetherness but, If your're struggling with loss, loneliness, and depression, this time of year can be really difficult. I'm working with several other area providers to offer Holiday support groups for those who need a little help and comfort . Groups will be held in both Fort Myers and Cape Coral locations. When we find ourselves in the dark hole of depression, we tend to isolate. As you know, depression doesn't work that way. You just feel stuck and hopeless. This group offers you helpful support from other's who are suffering. Many couples struggle with their communication. Over time, if issues are not resolved, resentments occur effecting our ability to communicate. It is our perception of our partner that actually creates the disconnect in communication. Unfortunately, you're partner is doing the exact same thing. Don't worry, it is not our fault or our partners. We never learned in school how really listen and validate. We were taught o react! This group will teach you both how to manage your thoughts and reactions, actively listen and validate. Come learn these important communication skills in a fun environment.
