Group therapy

Group psychotherapy or group therapy is a form of psychotherapy in which one or more of Banyan therapists treat a small group of clients together as a group, typically as small as five and sometimes over 15 clients. The group therapy includes cognitive behavioral therapy and/or interpersonal therapy depending on the nature of the group, and therapist's recommendations. Clients develop, explore and examine interpersonal relationships within the group. The sharing of experiences and activities that apply to real life scenarios help with coping skills and working on underlying issues clients' are experiencing.
