Disability and Neurodiversity Remote Process Group
The purpose of this group is for adults with physical, mental, neurodevelopmental, and other disabilities to have a safe and inclusive space to process disability-related concerns. The scarcity of mental health resources available to people with disabilities adds another layer of complexity to the barriers we face in society. Lack of connectedness to others who can relate creates feelings of isolation and reduces access to opportunities. We need a place to build relationships, be ourselves, share encouragement, grieve loss, feel understood, lament ableism, and believe in ourselves. So, come join us on the journey of self-acceptance and empowerment.
