Delectical Behavior (DBT) Skills Training Group

This innovative effective approach to group dynamics differs from a psychotherapy group. DBT is structured with the goal of offering support while you learn significant skills to improve the quality of your life. A blend of Psychotherapy, CBT, Mindfulness and Interpersonal Effectiveness Skills, consisting of Distress Tolerance and Emotional Regulation methods are taught. Practice assignments provide an opportunity to apply skills learned in group to real life situations. Each group member can share as little or as much as they like to ensure a safe, secure atmosphere. A non-judgmental environment is encouraged and everything discussed in groups is confidential.
