Transgender Group
A psychotherapeutic growth group for gender-variant individuals. The group environment allows participants to explore and share in a safe and supportive environment the unique experiences of identifying as transgender, including individuals' journeys, opportunities, and successes. Topics are varied and include components of sexual identity, self-esteem, discrimination in the community, work and school, coming out to loved ones, vulnerabilities, and hormone therapies. This group is open to anyone self-identifying as transgender. Most insurances accepted, self-pay is $40 per 75-minute session.

Understanding Self and Others
This group provides an opportunity for members to help each other develop greater self-awareness, enhance their functioning in personal and professional realm, change current behavior, and discover new ways of coping. This group is designed to deal with a wide variety of presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, interpersonal difficulties, issues of family conflict, and many others. For instance, people who feel depressed or anxious would benefit from this group, as it can help them understand how their relationships with others are affected by anxiety or depression. The various topics discussed in the group are identified by group members.

Intensive Outpatient - Substance Use and Abuse
Florida Counseling and Evaluation Services welcomes all clients for services related to alcohol and drug addiction, and in need of life enhancing recovery from co-occurring conditions. We expect that many clients presenting for treatment at our facility will have co-occurring issues, and we will screen for these disorders. We provide options including integrated services related to alcohol and drug addiction and other behavioral health disorders.
