I believe that you know yourself and what you need best. My role is simply to hold space for your thoughts to be expressed and your emotions to be processed so that you can feel capable of handling whatever life throws your way. I am a feminist counsellor who endeavours to create an egalitarian relationship (as much as is possible) with each client, but acknowledge that this desire is impacted by my own lived experience as a white settler on unceded Anishnaabeg territory. My ultimate goals are for clients to feel safe, heard, and empowered, and I have a particular affinity for working with queer and fat folks!
I offer virtual counselling via PHIPA-compliant video chat.
