A mainstay of my therapeutic philosophy is the importance of avoiding judgment, of ourselves and others. While this is not always easy, and it is very normal to feel embarrassed or potentially judged when you first begin working with a therapist; I encourage you to try to remember that judgment and self-judgment are actually a story and this telling can be rewritten.
My approach to therapeutic healing is borne out of the concept that through resilience we are all capable of improving not just in spite of, but also because of, the challenging life experiences we have endured. Our experience of our life events holds the possibility to open up new areas of our inner life that we may not have uncovered without the struggle.
I appreciate the opportunity to help individuals who are in search of self-defined and personally guided change to find the solutions that will lead to lasting health and improved emotional well-being. You've taken the first step and are looking for support. Take the next step in healing your most important resource and reach out.
