Above all treatment modalities, the biggest predictor of success in therapy is a positive relationship between the client and the therapist. As a therapist, I work to create a safe, non-judgemental therapeutic environment in which clients can heal and grow. During our time in therapy together, we will work closely to analyze what struggles you are facing, their underlying causes, and try to change the behaviors and thought patterns that are keeping you from being the person you want to be.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been in practice since 2008. I earned my Master’s Degree in Social Work from the University of Georgia and have provided therapeutic services in a variety of clinical treatment settings, including inpatient psychiatry/detox, residential substance abuse, and in private practice.
I specialize in working with adults and couples with the following concerns: relationship distress, attachment, women’s issues, LGBTQ+ issues, anxiety, depression, body-image issues, stress management, substance use, self-awareness and personal growth.
