Are you looking for a counsellor because you are feeling stuck and unable to stop behaving in unhelpful old patterns? The difficulties you are experiencing will have developed for good reasons in response to your life so far. As we work together to help you accept that, so it becomes clearer that there are more choices available to you.
I see my role as being similar to that of an archaeologist. You know much more about yourself than I ever can, but over the years your defences have settled like sand over parts of yourself you have forgotten exist. I look forward to helping you gently sweep away the sand so that you can rediscover those parts, enabling new ways of being to emerge.
