You’ve researched, journaled, listened to the podcasts, tried CBT, DBT, breathing exercises; anything to release the fear of having to navigate a dangerous world of violence, hate, oppression, and misinformation. I know this because I see so much of my own story in yours; the black sheep (cycle breaker, dreamer) in a family or workplace that doesn’t know you and makes no effort to do so. You want to feel seen, heard, respected.

Hi there! I am a Registered Psychotherapist who is passionate about coming alongside couples and individuals who are ready to embark on their healing journeys. From creating secure attachments between romantic partners to strengthening one’s relationship with themselves, I strive to create a safe space for my clients to explore their experiences— the highs, the lows, and everything in between.

With a foundation rooted in Relational Gestalt psychotherapy, my role as an enlightened witness supports you as you feel your feelings, strive to make sense of how you approach the world around you and proceed on your healing journey. I work from an embodied approach to support you as you explore your difficulties, past and/or present, that you may struggle to verbalize. My compassionate side, with a little humour thrown in for good measure, makes difficult feelings a little easier to navigate. We can use conversation, movement, art, music or role play during our sessions—whatever interests you.

I have a strong belief in your capacity to change. I’ve worked for over 25 years supporting people who are struggling from both physical and emotional pain. I help people find stability and reconnect with themselves, as they do the important work of reclaiming and changing their life for the better. I am a registered social worker with over 15 years of work experience. I have helped people who experience issues such as: depression, anxiety, addiction, abuse, trauma, anger, LGBTQ-related issues, relationship issues, grief, and family conflict. My journey into social work began at age 14, when I lost my father to cancer. Because there were few supports available at the time, I felt alone and stuck. This prompted me to dedicate my life to assisting others during difficult times, and help them realize they are not alone.
