About
If you are dealing with a crisis, are feeling confused and overwhelmed, or have suffered a loss, or a relationship struggle, then please contact me. I have been counselling 20+ years with adults, couples and adolescents and I welcome the privilege of working with you, supporting you to reclaim your inner strength. I believe I combine integrity, compassion and clinical skill to offer you effective, thought provoking therapy. And I will provide you with feedback and tools to make a difference in your current circumstances. I welcome hearing from you.
In my practice I support people struggling with relationship and marital concerns, self-esteem issues, depression, anxiety, anger, trauma, workplace stress, career transition as well as work/life balance. I employ a variety of approaches in my sessions to enhance insight, and support you to generate new responses to the circumstances you find yourself in.
I take a directive approach to therapy. This means that l will listen intently, give you feedback to reflect my understandings of what you have shared, and offer you tools to try out when applicable to manage a situation differently. My hope is to leave you feeling heard, understood and supported.
