Mental health is the ability to deal with our problems. I bring over 30 years expertise and specialized training to help you deal with most of life's challenges and relationships. I teach clients to effect change in anxiety, interpersonal relationships, loss, illness, abuse issues, shyness, family conflicts, intimacy and sexual issues and self confidence. I treat addictions which I see as unwanted or compulsive behaviors. I work with both individuals and couples with relationship and sexual issues and adults/parents with family issues. As I age myself l like to work with aging related issues, including sexual and adult children.

I became a therapist because, just like you, I am human and have had my fair share of battles. It took a long time for me to get to where I am today. I recognize that in moments of hopelessness, it is hard to find determination, that depression can be scary, that anxiety can be overwhelming, and that traumatic experiences can leave one feeling emotionally exhausted and drained out. I acknowledge the stigma associated with mental health and in going to therapy. For this reason, I know how crucial it is to provide therapy that is client-centered, empathetic, and unique to each person’s needs.

The Therapy Centre is a full service psychology practice. We offer services to children, teens, adults, couples, and families. We offer psychological and neuropsychological assessment and treatment services for a wide variety of issues listed below. All of our clinicians are well trained in empirically validated treatment models, including: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Emotion-Focused Therapy (EFT), Relational Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT) and EMDR. For most of my career I've supported adults aged 20-65+ from varying circumstances in gaining a greater understanding and appreciation for themselves. I also support individuals and couples in achieving self-identified goals that lead to the desired outcomes and meaningful change. I have specialized and extensive training in Internal Family Systems (IFS), CBT and have completed Phases 1 & 2 of Brainspotting.
